Kon Wapos Lodge Fall Conclave 2013

Friday, August 16 - Sunday, August 18, 2013
Check-in from 6:00-10:00 PM Eastern Time on Friday & 
Pick-up on Sunday 10:30-11:00 AM Eastern Time
Camp Hiawatha, Munising, MI

 

 

Ordeal candidates need to arrive at camp no later then 8:30 pm est. on Friday evening. The conclusion of the Ordeal, including flap and book distribution, will not be until Sunday morning. 

LEAVING CAMP DURING THE WEEKEND IS PROHIBITED! If any youth member needs to leave camp for any reason, they must sign out and be picked up by a parent or guardian OR have a signed permission slip from their parents or guardian stating why they are leaving and who has permission to pick them up. Thank you for your help with this safety issue.

Parents and Scouts, please review the information found on the back of this form. All Scouts under 18 years old must have a signed permission slip to attend this event.

Everyone must bring a valid BSA Medical Form Parts A and B and the Youth Participation Permission Slip (youth members only who are not using the bus shuttle service).

 

Suggested items to bring for the weekend include: Scout uniform, tent, sleeping bag, ground cloth, work clothes and gloves (items will get dirty), rain gear, underwear, socks, toiletries, towel, carving knife, money for trading post, insect repellent, flashlight, health history form and any needed medications.


BUS SHUTTLE SERVICE

If you are wishing to take advantage of the bus shuttle service to conclave, you can select your pick-up/drop off location during the registration process. Space is limited.

Cost: $35 (this is in addition to the Fall Conclave fee)

 

Pick-up Locations on Friday, August 16:

  2:00 PM — Allenton (Park & Ride @ Hwy 33/Hwy 41 intersection)

  2:45 PM — Fond du Lac (Walmart @ Hwy 23/Hwy 41 intersection)

  3:30 PM — Appleton (Park & Ride @ Ballard Rd/Hwy 41 intersection)

  4:15 PM — Green Bay (Park & Ride @ Lineville Rd/Hwy 41 intersection)

 

Drop-off Locations on Sunday, August 18:

  3:00 PM — Green Bay (Park & Ride @ Lineville Rd/Hwy 41 intersection)

  4:00 PM — Appleton (Park & Ride @ Ballard Rd/Hwy 41 intersection)

  5:00 PM — Fond du Lac (Walmart @ Hwy 23/Hwy 41 intersection)

  6:00 PM — Allenton (Park & Ride @ Hwy 33/Hwy 41 intersection)

 

Notes: Make sure to arrive 30 minutes early for drop-off and pickup. If timing changes on re-turn, we will contact parents via phone. Gear will be transported on the bus as well, so pack accordingly. Both the Bus Permission Slip  and  the Medical Form Parts A & B are REQUIRED to board the bus. Make sure to have them in hand and not packed.
