Rokilio Experience

Rokilio Experience is an exciting way to introduce Cub Scouts and their parents to the outdoor adventure of Cub Scout World and Camp Rokilio. Parents and Scouts will experience their first camping adventure together and will have the opportunity to participate in some exciting and fun-filled activities. Spring Mom & Son

June 12-14, 2015

Mom & Son is a weekend camping program adventure for Mom and her Scouting son(s). The theme this year is western and there will be a wagon race and wagon decoration contest! For more information and to register, click here

 

BALOO

At least one adult leader must be BALOO trained in order for a Cub Scout Pack to participate in overnight camping. This is an energetic training that will cover everything you need to know to plan and run a Pack overnighter. It’s more than just camping — it includes ideas for outdoor activities, games and ceremonies; information on selecting and using camping equipment and more! On Tuesday, March 30th, the first of several branding projects that will take place over the course of the next several years has started. Work on the roof of the dining hall at Camp Rokilio has commenced and is in the process of getting a new green metal roof. As roofs meet their life expectancy at the camps we will continue to replace them with green standing seam metal roofs that require less maintenance and have a life expectancy far superior to traditional shingles.

Cub Scout Update: New Pack Meeting Plans Available

Annual Meeting

Calling all Chartered Organization Representatives & Council Members-at-Large!

On April 20th Bay-Lakes Council will hold its Annual Meeting at Liberty Hall in Kimberly beginning at 6:30 p.m. If you plan to attend, please contact Judy Steffes at the Center for Scouting: (920)734-5705 ext. 119 or by email to judys@baylakesbsa.org, so that we can plan appropriately.

All Chartered Organization Representatives and Council Members-at-Large are encouraged to come and cast their vote as we elect the leadership that will guide the Bay-Lakes Council for the next year.

2015 Friends of Scouting Campaign

The 2015 FOS Campaign is on target at 64.7% of goal or $528,112 raised of a $816,000 goal. As you can see from the chart below this years theme is Green and Gold! Take a look at the chart below to see where your team, or District, is positioned on the field and how close you are to the End Zone. How can you help? If you haven’t yet made a donation please consider making one to your respective team! Memorial Tribute Fund

The Bay-Lakes Council Tribute Fund has been established for Scouters & Friends of Scouting. It gives you the opportunity to pay tribute to a relative or friend through a donation to the Council. This can be done as a congratulation, get well or sympathy from the donor.
